Barbara Troczynski

Barb holds a Masters Degree of Science in Physiotherapy from the Academy of Physical Education in her home town Crocow, Poland.
After moving to Canada in the 90’s, she started to work in hospitals such as GF Strong and G. Pearson. Since 2003 Barbara
has been working in private clinics all over the lower mainland, mostly in Vancouver, where she has lived over 25 years!

 

Barbara founded Main Care Physiotherapy in 2017.


In her practice, she uses mostly manual therapy such as soft tissue release, myofacial release, trigger point therapy, MET and
stretching techniques. With Barb’s work background from Europe and Canada, she is
able to treat patients after car accidents (MVA), work related injuries (WSBC) and orthopaedic cases. She has a strong interest
in Women’s Health and TMJ dysfunctions.
She has completed many post-graduate courses in the area of orthopaedics, Kinesio-taping, whiplash injuries, vestibular rehab,
women’s health and visceral manipulation.


When she is not trying to heal the world, she enjoys good conversation, good movies, new adventures, attending piano concerts and travelling the world.

Mathi Marimuthu

Mathi is a Physiotherapy graduate from UBC and has been practicing around the Lower Mainland since 1995. He has a strong focus on treating Musculoskeletal/ Orthopaedic conditions with manual therapy, exercise prescription and education. He brings with him a wealth of experience having completed numerous post graduate manual therapy courses. He is also certified in functional dry needling and Vestibular rehabilitation.

Shih Kai (Mike) Chen

Mike graduated from PCU College of Holistic Medicine, Burnaby, BC in 2011. For over ten years, he has been a registered Doctor of TCM and a registered acupuncturist. Mike also has over fifteen years of Tuina massage experience. Mike’s specialization is in pain management and treating internal diseases. Moreover, Mike was an instructor at PCU College of Holistic Medicine for five years.

While not in the clinic, Mike enjoys sports such as swimming and hiking. Mike also spends a vast amount of time reading up new medical techniques for the best interests of both him and his patients.

Vincent Choi

Registered Kinesiologist

Vincent graduated with a Bachelor in Kinesiology from the University of British Columbia, Vancouver, BC in 2020. He enjoys rehabilitation and prescribing exercise programs to help others achieve their goals. He believes that every individual is capable of reaching their goals and also enjoys helping clients learn something new about themselves. Vincent also has experience volunteering in various clinics where he assisted other physiotherapists with client treatment programs.

Outside of Kinesiology, Vincent has a second degree black belt in Taekwondo and has experience as an instructor. He played various sports in elementary school including basketball and soccer. During his high school years, Vincent took part in many intramural sports such as volleyball, soccer and ultimate Frisbee.

Some of his interests include hiking, walks around the seawall, playing sports and watching movies.
